About Davar Ardalan

Davar Ardalan is a senior producer with NPR News in Washington, D.C. She has written and produced hundreds of stories for radio, including a report on human rights in Iran and an award-winning documentary on Israeli and Palestinian parents whose children have been killed in the region’s conflicts. In 2004, she produced the series “My Name Is Iran,” which recounts the experiences of her own family in Iran. Her new book, My Name Is Iran, which is based on the radio series, traces her life in America and Iran and the challenges she has encountered living in two different worlds.
